We know that our plans our will evolve as we move through the trip. We have chosen not to book the entire 10 months ahead of time because we want to have the option to stay somewhere if we really fall in love with a place, and want to explore it more completely. We also like the option of ‘slow travel’ in some places where we can settle down and live in a spot for an extended period of time. We’ve realized in our planning just how big the world is and how little we actually will see in the next 10 months! But… it is definitely a start!

Part 2: Southeast Asia (November 21st – March 2)

• November 22 – December 11: Phuket, Thailand
• December 11 – December 28: Chiang Mai, Thailand
• December 28 – January 4: Siem Reap, Cambodia
• January 4 – February 1: Western Bali
• February 1 – March 2: Ubud, Bali

Part 3: Australia & New Zealand (March 3 – April 5)

• March 3 – 10 – Australia
• March 10 – April 5 – New Zealand by camper van. 18 days on the South Island and 8 days on the North Island

Part 4: South Pacific Islands (April 5 to April 27)

• April 5 – 18 – Cook Islands (specifically, Rarotonga)
• April 18 – 20 – Santiago Chile
• April 20 – 27 – Easter Island
• April 27 – 28 – Santiago Chile

Part 5: United States of America (April 28 to June 28)

•  We plan to tour the US National Parks in the west, and go to the Harry Potter theme park in Orlando Florida before returning home for the summer.

Return – Friday, June 28th, 2019 (Fly home to Prince Edward Island, Canada)
